Milwaukee County Zoo: Animals, Exhibits and Rides

One of the nation's top zoos, the Milwaukee County Zoo plays host to over 1,700 mammals, fish, reptiles, birds and invertebrates. $10.00 for adult residents, $7 for kids; $1.75 extra for nonresidents; all ticket prices increase by $3 from April 1 through October 31

  • What items are prohibited at the zoo?

    For the safety of the animals and guests, the Milwaukee County Zoo forbids the following items: alcoholic beverages, glass bottle or containers, firearms, cigarettes, radios, skateboards, scooters, roller skates, bicycles and pets. For more information, call 414-771-3040.
  • Does the zoo offer any free admission days?

    The Milwaukee County Zoo offers free admission to families during the 2017 season on January 7, February 4, March 4, October 7, November 4 and December 2. The zoo also provides free admission to residents on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
